I used to consider myself a pretty active person. I played sports all throughout high school, and was pretty good about going to the gym in college, especially during my last two years. Since graduating and working full time, I can't say I work out all too often – if I'm lucky, I'll go once a month. Still, I love activewear and the athleisure trend, and find myself reaching for this type of clothing for lounging around on the weekend, whether I'm running to grab coffee or go to the drugstore, or making a rare appearance at my gym.
I wanted to highlight some of my favorite activewear pieces, brands, and some of the best places to look for affordable gym clothes. Follow me on LiketoKnow. It for more posts featuring athleisure looks!
With graduation and summer right around the corner, I thought now would be the perfect time to share some of my favorite white dresses on the market. I graduated from college last May and remember how many girls were frantically searching for a dress to wear for graduation. While it's not mandatory at most schools to wear white, white is a traditional color to wear for graduation ceremonies (and let's be honest, it looks great with a tan). I found some great dresses, most of which are under $200, that are perfect for graduation or for any occasion you need a little white dress!
Anyone else love Golden Goose sneakers but hate the price tag? I've been lusting over those bad boys for almost a year now, but I can't justify spending $300+ on sneakers. I love anything with stars, and I've managed to find a lot of great dupes for the GGDB!
I've had my eye on Canada Goose coats for a while. The signature coyote fur hood, the red, white and blue patch... the coats are definitely showy, but make a statement nonetheless.
I've made do with hip-length down coats from the likes of Helly Hansen and Patagonia over the years. I would not have survived freezing cold winters in Kent, Connecticut without them, and they are my favorite to ski in because they provide warmth while still allowing ample mobility. However, now that I'm a bit older, I needed a coat that would cover past my hips and keep me warm when out and about during the winter. After a tough couple of weeks and serious burnout at work, I decided to do a little retail therapy and buy myself a Canada Goose jacket.
